About My Baking Journey

Baking has always been a passion of mine, filled with creativity and joy. My grandparents emigrated from Copenhagen, Denmark, and my grandmother started my baking journey, creating my earliest memories of all. She taught me to be patient and precise. The joy I felt baking with her at the holidays has carried with me my entire life. Though I have worked many jobs, baking and cooking has always been my passion and I have worked part time and at home feeding this desire.

In 2019, I furthered my knowledge and skills by enrolling in The Culinary Institute of America’s Baking and Pastry program. Graduating in 2020, during the pandemic, there were not many jobs available but I was able to accept a job with Panera Bread as their baker. I then started working back at the CIA until I was hit by a car. I am unable to bake professionally anymore, but I hope to continue my journey sometime in the future.
